Skate around the world in 24 hours for UNICEF: 16/17 June
: sob marca 10, 2007 1:10
Skating Ladies and Gentlemen from Poland,
sorry for writing this in English. I cannot write this in your nice Polish language.
I would like to draw your attention to a worldwide 24hour-skating event supporting UNICEF. Its fourth edition will start on 16th of June 2007, 10:00 UTC = 12:00 central European daylight saving time.
Don't worry, you don't have to skate 24 hours in a row for this event. Everybody who can skate for one hour or more during these 24 hours, can participate, no matter where you are, if you skate alone or in a group, if you are a speed skater or a recreational skater. This way you can help to build a global chain of skaters around the planet. Timing of the event is coordinated via its website http://www.24skate.net.
Participation is free of charge.
For each kilometer skated by the fastest skaters one Euro will be donated to UNICEF.
I hope you are interested to become part of the worldwide 24skate community.
Please have a look to http://www.24skate.net for more details, registration etc.
I would be happy to have some enthousiastic skaters from Poland in the 24skate community. I am looking forward to hear from you.
Thank you and best regards
